I would like to find parts / an old chevy extended cab or suburban to use as a donor to build a kit hummer. Once the project is complete, I am going to auction it using ebay or some other source and give all proceeds to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital. What is the best way to get donations / donor vehicle / even possibly sponsorship to do this. I have seen that Urban Gorilla makes a nice kit and would possibly consider using a kit like that to build the Hummer kit car. I have over 15 years of automotive experience and have worked in two assembly plants in the past 15 years. This is a project that I would like to do in my home shop as a way to help Saint Jude's. I would also like to find volunteers to help. Would this be something to post maybe on craigslist or other classifieds site. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated....This is still in the brainstorming process right now. Thanks in advance for all ideas.
