Best way to generate money through my blog

Okay, Ive set it up, added loads of content, updating it to nearly 3 - 4 times a day and now have around an average of 500 unique views today, so whats the best way for me to go about making money of it?

I've added the Text Link Ads on the blog, but so far havn't even got a single person buying a link and its been up for about a week so far. What other ways can I monetize my blog?

The blog is the one in my signature. Thanks!

I was banned by Adsence time back, I live in the UK, so YPN is out of the question, and also with my old site I got paid once by Adbrite but the check I received couldn't be cashed out for some reason so I stopped using them. As to Kontera, does it accept Paypal?

I doubt that your blog niche is a well paid one on PPC so I'd recommend you to do Review Post. PPP and ReviewME are the best and I've seen many off topics and personal blogs generate a nice sum of cash through them.

Try some affiliate marketing (similar to text link ads) but more oriented or similar to the content your write in your blog (sorry did not saw your blog yet).

You can try cj.com (commission junction) to find the appropriate affiliate program that suits your niche of site.

Thanks for the advice. I've signed up the CJ and also looking into PPP now, and also going to try AuctionAds to see if that works out for me. Lets see how this goes...

You could try cost per impression, or CPM, where you get paid for every 1000 people who view the link or ad on your site.

They usually pay like, $20 or so per one thousand, so that isn't bad. Plus you could use other monetization outlets.

Which one is that exactly? That sounds very interesting.

And thanks purdue512 for that! The site looks interesting. I'll register there tomorrow and see how it goes for me.
