I don't believe you - because if this was true - you wouldn't stop at $14,500 - you would re-invest at least 10k of that and make back $300k... after all you can guarantee a 30x's your investment back - right?

I think Rith's list is quite complete. I agree that you can do by yourself link building. Nevertheless the process is time consuming. I do it by myself and i have a site with amazon products. It has been three months that i work on it and I don't have good results. I guess patience is the secret to success!

The only reliable method to get traffic: Relevant Content Good Backlinks Since your selling products and not free offers, the usual free methods of "Bum marketing" (Autosurfs, free email safelists, etc) won't help you much. You could use free classifieds. There's a good free program I used to use called ad submitter that really speeds up the process. Sulit.com is a good free classifieds too (they're not included in the program, which is why I mention!
if you are after traffic social bookmarking and social media is your best bet. like what most of people here advice, it will take your time so hire someone to do backlinking to your site instead.

If you can lot of backlink and do it manually as long that you do have time and hardwork . Then it will be free. Purchase backlinks may not a good idea because mostly it not worth to paid that while most backlink sold do have poor quality in SEO . May try on facebook ads and use facebook fan page to promote . It is the cheapest way to get huge amount of traffic.
I dont think free classifieds would give you a better result. For me its simply a wastage of time....
My suggestion is to do article submissions with unique content, along with that do weblink submission, social bookmarking to get expected traffic on your site... And i like to say that you dont need to worry about money cos the above mention techniques are full of free only.. U jus go though it and start to work on it... If you like to get instant traffic means spend some investment and do PPC technique..
