I doubt there are many, other people have the same idea.

I would find a large volume domain cleaner on Google, and dump the pages in there, then use Moniker bulk search.

Yeah, I didn't expect much of an (honest) answer. However, you gave me a nice starting point. Thank you! :)

use D.R.T (Domain Research Tools) to scan dropping lists, or simply use freshdrop.net they are free (Not all the site, some parts are paid)
premiumdrops.com have a great service as well, but they offer no more Free membership, you will get a trail period (14 days as I remember) after then you have to pay a monthly subscription fees

Why don't you scan their ODP rdf .xml file and see each one for availability? I have done that in the past. I got only one which I regged and then after a few days their editor deleted the site from the directory. They are doing it now. Research around.

I would say find other ways like buying a site with a dmoz listing etc. But you have to stick with the old theme.

DMOZ - very challenging directory to be listed in. It is used by Google and others as a directory listing.

Everyone above: Great tips! Thank you!

Maybe a really dumb question please forgive me.

I tried buying some expired domains. The problem is: i know where to find expired domains, but when i want to buy them it says i have to backorder it. So i guess they are expired but the old owner can still renew or something?

I searched deleted, expired and whatever. But everytime when i find one that i find interesting i cannot register it RIGHT away. I mean, there must be a way i can register it that instant right?

What am i doing wrong? What info am i missing?
