Hey, I was just wondering what other peoples best ways of finding blogs to comment on/read are? I think probably the most used ways are; 1) Recommendations/referrals from friends 2) Blog search engine (Technorati, Google etc...) But does anyone have any other ways they like to use?
You've probably got the best methods there. I find that with features such a CommentLuv once you find a good blog you can easily find links from it to many other with the same subject area.
I think Digg is the best one. I use it all the time and nothing's generated better results, considering it's a free service.
Hi there, I searched for do follow blogs and found that as long as the blogs are high ranking and they are related to yours then this method of marketing your blog is great .
I use Technorati and the my keywords, and of course, blogs that belongs to well-known/successful people in my own niche. Along with word-of-mouth, a lot of people at DP suggests good blogs as well. And I get some good tips at twitter. - jens -
Sometimes you can get some good lists here. However, they become spammed so quickly that the dofollow usually doesn't last. Once that happens, all of your hard work is lost... I have found the easiest way is to stick with Technorati. Some great blogs can be found just searching for your keywords. Good luck!
I think these are the best tips here. I assume you want to leave comments on blogs because you want traffic to your blog and make money out of them, right? If that's the case, you must get relevant traffic or relevant visitors who will most likely appreciate your post and may need your service or ads. Therefore, they must belong to your niche.
Yes, you may find a lot of blogs at Entrecard. However, most of their members only visit other blogs just to drop their cards then left immediately. Besides suffering from high bounce rate, I doubt if you can avoid irrelevant commentators. It's nice to socialize with different bloggers, but it will not help you blog if they do not belong to your niche.
