Best way to estimate CPC?

I'm new to adwords and need to estimate CPC. I'm trying to do this with Adwords Traffic Estimator. The trouble is that I get a different results for the estimated average CPC when i leave the "maximum CPC" and "daily budget" blank or based on different values I put in them. Should I leave these fields bank or should i input some specific figures to get the best possible estimates?

You will not get the exact data from anywhere. The only reliable option is to ask someone who has done PPC for the same industry.

I'm not looking for exact data. Just the closest approximation.

I guess you could use the following formula to calculate the max CPC that you can pay...

    (CPA/ROI)*CR

Assuming you earning is $20 for the product and your conversion rate is 2% the calculation would be:

    (20 / 150) * 2 = 0.26

using 100 for ROI will only break even so always use anything more than 100% for ROI...

For your adwords, you should put a budget of atleast $10-15 per day... remember this amount may not be reached but this definitely affects the number of impressions...
