Best way to earn money on a wallpaper site.

Hi all,

I have a wallpaper site that gets around 800 visits/15,000 page views a day.

Apart from adsense(site is banned) what is the best way to make some money from this site?

nothing comes close to Adsense in PPC.

you may try full page ads by Adbrite.

 

There are other sites also apart from ad sense, like Adbrite, bidvertiser and all..
Check them out if it can be useful to you..

 

Get popup ads too. for the page where people take your wallpapers. Some people "steal" them. There you can read about them http://thebestpayperclick.blogspot.com/

beside clicks, pop up, you can do impression for the spot people dont usually click but you also get $$,

Site which say CPM is this per visitor or per page impression?

 

Just get a cpm network to monetized your site. If your site got banned from Adsense then I'm expecting that the traffic that you are getting are just leaving after 30 seconds.

 

may i know, why your site get banned from google?

many other wallpapers site dont have any problem with GA.

do u place adult wallpapers along with adsense previously?

 

Adsense doesn't like copyright violations.

Many wallpaper sites don't own the rights to the wallpapers that they are using.

In most cases, the rights of these wallpapers lie with the photographer or the creator of the wallpaper.

 

I think CPM and Adbrite are the best choices for you, or even try black label ads.
Try them out, or even adtoll could be great.

Thanks for your help, I purchased the site knowing it had been banned. Not sure why but I would guess it is that some pictures are slightly adult.

The traffic seems to stay for a while which is good.

 

You can also try one of the CPM ad networks.

 

Can anyone suggest some good CPM networks? Do they pay per 1000 impressions or per 1000 visitors?

Having said all that, it might just be best to remove the adult content and put adsense back on it!
