Best way to drive traffic to squidoo lenses?

    Hello,

I have been trying to use Squidoo to make a bit of money recently, but im really struggling getting people to look at my articles with them only getting a view or two a day if I am lucky. What can I do to increase the amount of traffic coming to my lenses without spending any money? Of course I would be willing to do stuff myself such as forum posting etc.

Thanks, looking forward to any help.

What article website would you suggest to use instead then? One that allows affiliate links.

    Thanks.

You will be better off creating your own site. This way you will be in control of your content. I have used squidoo and you are not in control of your own content. You can still use it but read the TOS..

Use youtube to make a video on the subject of your lens and create a back link to your lens in the YouTube discription.

I wrote several a couple years ago; they make me about $30-35 a month is all, but then again it's only a handful of articles. Interlinking your lenses is key (but for this to work you need similar topics). Good old fashioned SEO still works, and if it's graphical type stuff and you have an active following on Pinterest that can drive some traffic.
