I own a car classified ad website... I was thinking of promoting it by buying an AutoTrader or something simular and calling the people and asking if they still had it... and if so, that they could put it on my site for free and get more exposure. Would this be a good idea or a bad one? It would be pretty cheap, as an AutoTrader is only $2, and I get free phone minutes on the weekend. How should I word it so it sounds better than "Do you have your car forsale?" .yes. "You can try to post it on _____ for more exposure and it's free"... Don't want to sound like a telemarketer or anything. Thanks
