Hi, I am looking to create a site very similar to www.awkwardfamilyphotos.com, as I have a great idea for a site and believe I will be able to monetize it well. In any case, I am considering buying hosting and a domain name through someone such as Blue Host and using word press to create the site. Does anyone have thoughts as to if this is the best way to go about this? Are there templates I can download that may already look like this? Also, any thoughts on the best place to get hosting? I would recommend installing a Blog CMS like Wordpress or Joomla, then a Plugin that has some sort of rating capability. You can find plugins and extensions on the wordpress or joomla website. I would suggest registering a keyword-rich domain name like "awkward family photos", but it's going to be tough because that is the main search phrase that people are using. You can try awkward family pics, pictures, funny family photos or something similar
I guess it Will be easier if you make a wordpress or joomla site on your server if you have one . If you don't you can start a blog on blogger & make a premium template , It will give better results .
