Best way to create a few backlinks?

    Hi everyone,

I have just started my new website, www.GamerzExpress.com, where I provide game downloads for people, and such. So I've tried getting backlinks by posting my link on some websites and such, posting on blogs, forums. I have even posted on link in all my forum profiles, but when I search "link:gamerzexpress.com" I get no results. Is it because I have no Backlinks, or what?

How long has it been? Are you even indexed? You appear indexed for many pages! Many of which are relatively new according to googles cache. I would check for backlings using yahoo and check google again in a day or two.

Sounds like you haven't been indexed yet. It's going to take some time, but more then anything else patience is a virtue when it comes to SEO.

Forum Sig's and Blog Comments will drive some traffic, but organic SEO results are going to take time.

How many links do you think you've created?

If you have not been indexed by Google yet, sign up for Google Webmasters. It’s free and once you login you can submit your websites site map which will get your site indexed much much quicker. Ever time I have done it; it takes only a day or two.

It also helps by showing you a list of all the links Google has found to your site, (This part will probably take longer). Just keep posting and submitting and search engines will eventually find you.

There is no BEST way. You have to be flexible when creating backlinks. Try them all to know which one works best.
One or two or all of the following:

    Article submission
    Blog commenting
    Forum commenting
    Social bookmarking
    RSS Feed
    Create supporting sites

The links are not updated daily. I noticed that Google Webmaster updated links every two weeks or a month. check back in a month's time, you should see some links appearing.

I think there are various methods for creating back links--

    Forum posting(signature setting is must)
Blog posting(set the name or the url)
Article Submission(set the links in your article)
    Social bookmarking
    Press Releasing(set your website's url)

It depends on several things. Firstly, is your site indexed yet? Secondly, the link: operator doesn't necessarily show you all the links (go into google webmaster tools to find all google backlinks, and yahoo site explorer for the yahoo backlinks). Thirdly, the pages with your links on may not have been crawled since your link was placed.

Firstly, Google will not show the links so early. after some time period they will show some links with the link operator but not all of them. Better check the backlinks from yahoo site explorer..

    Time is your answer.

You need to spend Time googling and do your own research.
You need to wait for. Only Time can tell when google indexes your site.
