I have a web page that is larger than the average screen size (You need to scroll to see the entire page). Because of this, I cannot use the average screen print program. I want to save the web page as a jpeg and be able to resize it and use it somewhere. What is the best way to do this? Thanks Carl
php , bash scripting ? Please specify the language so i can help (If you want it for desktop, are you using linux or windows?)
Just go to http://browsershots.org , choose the screen size as well as other options you require (colour depth, java, flash etc) . They give the output as .png screenshots (click on thumbnails to see the full image), you can easily save them to your PC and Convert it to jpeg or anyother format.. Hope this helps
I'm using webshot from http://www.websitescreenshots.com/ it can batch download many URL... ooh .. thank you geekos, I'll try to use those firefox add-on right now. It was simple
If your decent in Photoshop, then you can still use PrtScn Just make sure the multiple screenshots are in line
You can use FastStone Capture (ver 5.3 is free) which can make screenshots of the scrollable web pages. There's also an excellent "Screengrab!" Firefox plugin with similar feature.
This one is the best, it allows you to either copy to clipboard or save to file, and you have the option to either take screenshot of the full page or the visible portion or even an individual selection. Works nicely.
If for some reason you are unable to understand/use any of the solutions mentioned above take two screenshots and join them together. Crude solution but simple enough.
