I am looking for the best Free program I can use to check all the details of my websites visitors, such as how many visitors, how many unique visitors, what browsers, how they found my website etc. etc. what would you guys recommend?
Aside from google analytics, if you are using wordpress then statpress I think is ok too if you only need basic stats...
If you don't have access to your hosting panel and/or don't have any log program installed on the server then http://www.google.com/analytics/ is probably the best idea.
I find statcounter.com very good. It's free and you can see where the traffic's coming from, how long they stay on your page, etc, etc, etc....
i think you can get nice stat from your cpanel without install anything..stat is very good and detail
Hi! jenny is here. well i think you should go to the Yahoo and google search Engine.they are offering very flexible softwares to check the numbers of visitor and to check overall traffic. i am using it from last years. and out of both also i will suggest you to go for Google Analytics
Google analytics is the best compare with any others. Analytics give not only stats, website optimizing tool and all. you can try this.
A lot of people say analytics, but I've found that they are not very accurate. It's also kind of annoying to wait until the end of the day to view the stats. I personally use statcounter.com on all my sites, they're real time and free. Also if you have cpanel through your web hosting provider you an use the built in stat programs like webalizer and awstat
