Best way to check backlinks?

    On Google's webmaster tools... I can see what sites are linking to me (but it also shows no follow, and doesnt give any info about the sites linking to me such as PR, etc.)


    So... I use a program called SEO Spyglass.....

    While im a HUGE fan of this program...... I noticed, it doesnt pick up all of my backlinks

    A MAJOR PR4 relevant backlink doesnt show up on the SEO SpyGlass for some reason.... but is showing up on my Google Webmaster account...... it was a backlink I didnt even know about .......

    So, I realized SEO Spyglass... while its great.... doest catch all backlinks


    I also have SEO Elite but have never really used it......

    Does anyone know any free websites to check backlinks, or any other good programs?

    I either use google webmaster tool or altavista search engine to check the backlinks.

    the best way is sites or scripts that are counter and let you know the visitors came from?
    and you can find the sites that link you.

    Yahoo is good way,type "link:yoursite.com",then you can see your backlinks
