I invested with someone online for a decent sum of money, when it came time to pay back, the guy ran. He had someone exchange paypal to MB for him, so I'm looking to chargeback the money on my paypal. What is the best selection for chargeback to do for the best chance of receiving my money back? Service? Virtual Goods? Other Intangible goods? Cheers
You can try opening a dispute, if your claim is genuine enough,You should be able to get back your funds
Just raise the dispute and tell Paypal that the other party engaged in money exchanges without a license which is against Paypal's Acceptable Usage Policy. I am sure they would take action against the parties involved. This should be considered services.
U will not get ur money if u paid from your paypal balance and selected "services" as mode of payment. If u paid by credit card, then just call your bank and open a dispute.
