    Article marketing, Directory Submission, and Press Releases are all good ways. They are just time consuming and sometimes boring.

    Get some dofollow blogs and comment there. It will help you build links and also help in traffic as well.
    Second article submission services , Directory submissions , Niche Backlinks as well.

    I think everything are going to be ban if you do too much. Proper link building, whatever technique you use, are all good if you will not spam them.

    blogging, forum posting, few .edu links, article submission, press releases and and one way links (as many as possible - but be sure they are coming from good sites ) .. will do the trick ...
