    Hello,
What is the safest and best way to download your database for a vbulletin forum and is easy to put back up,
Would be great to know so i can back the site up everyday
I am knew with this back up stuff etc.
I am using the hosting company called: www.dot5hosting.com
They are pretty cheap and give some nice space and bandwith but horrible support

    Thanks very much!

i do not advise getting your database baked unless you plan on feeding it INSERTS -=)

    Extra effort can pay off:

Sometimes it's good to have a copy of both
    • Data and structure
    • With data only

In an emergency, use a fresh installation >> Empty data tables >>> Import (data only) from your backup...
...I've had this work better than other ways I know to rebuild a DB.
