This isn't asking for logo designs but I am thinking of running a contest soon to design a logo for my newly designed site (planned for the next week or so) What I really want to know is where and how is the best way to market the contest so that I get maximum visitors from link baiting. I know that there is a contest section on DP but that doesn't seem to attract many responses per contest. Whatever I do I may well advertise here on DP but would really like ideas to maximise this idea for attracting visitors to my site. Has anyone used this kind of link baiting successfully and if so how? Are there other sites that I should post to / advertise the contest? and finally.... how much is a decent prize for the best logo?
