Best way of verifying PayPal for Indians

    Hi All,

    What would you say is the best way to verify PayPal in India?
    Many would say VCC .. but many othrs say that this can lead to future problems and account getting limited.
    If CC ... then what all CC are applicable? i have HDFC international VISA and Stndard chartered Manhattan Visa cards....

    Please advice.    :confused:

    It is always advisable to use real CC instead of VCC if you want to use your paypal account for a long time without having any problem. You can use any bank's CC as far as i know (not international debit card).

    yeah .. I have HDFC international VISA DEBIT card and Stndard chartered Manhattan Visa CREDIT CARD...
    but i don't know if they work internationally or not.

    I think you only can use CC to verify ur paypal..It is not safe to verify paypal with VCC.You'd better use ur own CC..

    Your HDFC international VISA DEBIT card not works for this but your Standard chartered Manhattan Visa CREDIT CARD works IMO.

    hmmm. welll thanks all ...for the reply. but any way of knowing that the Standard chartered Manhattan Visa CREDIT CARD wil work as it is INDIA based only and i think that it won't work outside INDIA.

    Most CC cards work , go ahead and verify with HDFC/ Standard Carted , ive done it with HDFC and it works. VCC can cause issues later on.
