Never happen. Viral only works with entertainment factors, unless it can save or make people lots of money.
I just made today a little "viral" system to go with my site which has user-generated content. With this new page they can create easily, they can produce a lot of content and some of those pages can go viral, a little bit at least, everything is done to make it easy to share if visitors use social networks. I don't know yet how it will work, but for sure it can't hurt the traffic on the other pages, I may have good surprises when I'll see what my site's members will come up with.. Thank you for very interesting link. It really shows how viral marketing can be powerful for advertising, but the first thing is unique and very interesting content to see. I am thinking about that alot too and have made some experiments. I am thinking about video, that would spread viral.
Marketing is a process which starts from the time when we have some good ideas in our mind.like we are in business of in internet marketing then many things we have to take care about, what services we are offering to our venders,who are the target people, what is value of our service and how to create it ,what are the strategy, how to make good relationship with our clients in short we have to think twice before delivering our good service to best client because once our work will meet out client requirements then no one can stop us to achieve great height in the business.
from my experience it has to be unique, it can be funny or sad it honestly doesnt matter. It's just gotta be unique and that's probably the hardest part of viral marketing is coming up with that sort of stuff.
