Best video sites to upload to?

    I saw this video upload aggregator here on DP, and it provides the ability to upload to these sites:

    * Sumo.tv
    * sevenload
    * YouTube
    * Facebook
    * MySpace
    * Google Videos
    * Yahoo Videos
    * Dailymotion
    * Blip.tv
    * Photobucket
    * Metacafe
    * Revver
    * Veoh
    * Vsocial
    * Vimeo
    * Putfile

    This question is for those of you who are experienced (I'm about to launch my first) in uploading videos-what important sites that get significant views are missing from this list?
    I's also like to hear any tips on distributing short videos, especially opportunities to go viral.
    How do videos work with SB sites like SU and Digg? And is the same video treated differently if it is hosted at a different URL and titled differently?

    Should the title be keyworded or branded? Is it wise to do both at the same site? What strategies allow the maximum views?

    My videos not quite finished, but the progressing work can be seen here. It's a 30-second promo for a novel.

    Well I'd say Stage6 but thats not Flash streaming :\ Also maybe megavideo ?

    I can't hear anything you are saying it that video by the way.. you need to make the sound of the voice louder / clearer and maybe put the sound of the music down a bit

    Actually, the sound is just a place holder to time the images by until I can get a crack at my friend's sound studio setup...but thanks for the feedback, I noticed that myself.

    Can I submit a DIVX version of this to Stage 6? Are there other sites which only accept that format?

    Other sites that use unique file formats? Are there formats besides MP4 I should convert to?

    hey thanks for that "hey spread" link. I was actually looking for something like that myself...

    also, in my opinion, your video is not really viral. It's a good professional video but just not viral...I don't know that anybody (other than your friends and family) would pass it along to their friends.

    you should consider busting out your camera and taping something really viral (like a cat or a dog doing something out of the ordinary) with your site URL clearly pasted (in white) at the bottom.

    I don't know why, but videos of animals just strike a chord with us Americans and WE PASS THAT ALONG TO OUR FRIENDS.

    Well, you may be right about that...my audience is not really the herd. Yet, there is a huge amount of interest in the topic right now and I expect that those in my niche will pass it along if they like it well enough.

    I'm not really looking to hook pet lovers and "Muricans". I mostly put the video up to avoid getting inappropriate advice that would be better suited to something like you're talking about. Besides, it's not even close to finished...

    Anyway, "viral" or no, I hope it becomes popular and brings some targeted, interested traffic to the website.
