    Hi,

I need to install PHP on our Windows Server 2003 box for vB and also some other internal applications. What is the best (secure, speed & stable) method to do this please?

    Thanks

I've got that from PHP.net. Shall I just follow their instructions? Just last time I installed PHP (few years ago) there was different types (php.exe, asapi etc)..

    Thanks :)

It was different, just follow their instructions, installing PHP 5 is a breeze compared to PHP 4

Only 3 days then support of PHP4 would be closed. So latest PHP5 is the best choice.

It is not totally close, they will still release in cases of critical bugs, but no support. Frankly a lot of scripts still run only on PHP 4 :(

Make sure you have also installed Apache rather than using IIS - many of the components for vB use elements not supported by IIS
