    Hi everyone,

What, in your opinion, is the best live chat client that you can integrate with vBulletin? My forum has around 3,200 members and I am looking for something very reliable and very professional as this will be a permanent change and, with that in mind, I want to make the best choice (i.e. Something cutting edge that won't fall by the wayside as the years roll on).

Any suggestions from those who have already done this?

Looks good, but there has to be something less pricey ...

    Any more suggestions?

I'm specifically looking for something quite robust and professional that integrates with vbulletin particularly well (e.g. will log members in under their forum username automatically etc)

There's a free version of the a/v chat I recommended which might serve you well. Or you could integrate the free or cheap version of sigmachat. But like was suggested, FlashChat is the most popular for vB.

You could put up a shout box, although with a forum that large, it may move fairly fast.

    Howdy,

I'm using Flash Chat V4 4.2. It works pretty well. :)

There's a Java version I'm not familar with but you'll find it being used at NamePros.com

I use flashchat, and there is a vBulletin intergration hack for it as well that gives you thing like How many people are in the chatroom, etc.

See this page for links to both hacks and several others... vBulletin Hacks

Flashchat seems good for small and medium sized forums but what is the top of the line chat interface for very large commercial forums?
