What is the most underrated search engine that actually is good. One that's not covered with ads and doesn't force you to pay for special services.

How about hakia.com I think it would be new trend for search engine competition in the following year. Since it has another ranking algorithm comparing to another search engines.

Hakia.com is using Ask.com's results, so it is not a unique search engine. Try Homerweb.com. They've been around for a while, but kinda quiet.

Personally if I'm having real trouble finding something I will give dogpile.com a shot as it pulls results from the top engines.

    Apparently exalead is very good.

It ruddy well should be too, as the EU have spent almost as much of our taxes on developing it as they give to the French farmers...

Hakia don't use Ask's results. Hakia is still in beta but promising.

A good under rated search engine is Exalead

I deposited my initial $50 last year, added over 500 keywords and haven't seen a single visit from Snap.com yet.
