Ok, I've started a new online project and am doing my best to immerse myself in all the aspects that goes along with it. What I am hearing from everyone is 'link building! link building! link building!' So, here I am. My question is, though, are certain links better than others? If so, which types of links are better? Just higher PR? From what I understand, links from a higher PR are better. Is there an equivalency among them? For example, does 5 links from a PR5 page equal a certain amount of links from a PR3 page? Also, does the type of page that the site is linked from matter? Is it better to have 100 links from any PR1 site, or 10 links from a PR1 site that is in a similar niche as mine? So let's say my site deals with real estate news in the thailand. What kind of sites should I be looking to have my link posted on?
You can't know for sure how many from pr5 equals how many from pr3, it depends from a alot of stuff, like are the same niche, are nofollow, dofollow and it's better to have 100 links form same niche, but how will be hard to find many website in same niche where you can do link building... you will have to use other niches too... in the end a link is a link
Ok, so if 'a link is a link' then is it bad to get many at a time? Someone was selling something like "500 pr 3-5 links and even one guy said "5000 backlinks" and things like that in DP. Will google frown if suddenly 5000 links appear for my site overnight? What's the best way for backlink services? I am not sure how to build very many backlinks by myself, so I was thinking hiring someone else is the best option for me. Or is this a bad plan?
I know that a high pr site give better link juice than low pr and it doesn't matter what site you get backlink from.Although you might vary it with relevant links
I would like to suggest you to keep the site authority in mind while selecting for back links. PR is important but as lifeplayer said you have to take a look at the content of the site you are looking to get from. Try to get one way back links from high authority relevant websites with a decent PR. Also relevant back links are called "quality back links" in SEO world.
three way links are better and more beneficial. while making link exchange you must check few things like DA, PA, cached page and Pr. links from the site having better pr is good for the site.
Well, there are some criteria to know how strong the links are: if you managed to find .edu or .gov sites and you build links on them then these links are very effective, always try to use aged domains, less obl, static pages, relevant sites, use your main keywords in anchor.
A high PR link is worth far more than a large quantity of PR0 Links. Also, if you can get links on a site that is of the same theme or category as yours that is even better.Â
Every link counts! The best is article but its important that you have many different types of BL's (from articles, signatures from forums, blog comment, social bookmarking,...)
Buy links from sites from the same niche with high PR, chek th backlinks of th say, its alexa rank and so on search for "good sites" and buy links
Just register a nice .edu domain and create you own static page point out to your niche with dofollow backlink into it , also you just then ping your article with sum ping service , bookmark it , tweet or what ever , create post blogs related to your .edu that point to your main site Couple weeks your on top if you wish to know how register a .edu domain just pm me, i'll answer with no problem Cheers EaSy7
High PR links give us more benefits. If you collect links from your niche sites its more benefits. so you have to collect links related real estate. If you target your site only in Thailand then you need to collect links from local domain extension. its help you more.
you are right but i prefer register one .edu domain, then rater get a Backlinks service related to .gov .edu so my link will be more static , dofollow and i can do whatever i want beside thrust is some .edu .gov service that don't give the same quality link and post as your own .edu Domain Cheers EaSy7
