best tools for SEO

I know that SEO experts say manual submission is the way to go, but it is so time consuming, has anyone used software like Viral Submitter Pro or the Submit Suite (Website Submitter) tools? There has to be an easier way to regiaster and submit to the multiple directories and article sites, thanks
