Sure, but if the free ones are likely to be just as good, why pay for one? I would have thought that the google keyword tool is likely to be good for adsense, as it's their own traffic data that it's drived from, as it's in their own interest for you to do well, since they take a big cut...

Google adwords keyword tool is the best. overture is also ok but these days i dont know what is wrong with this site. I aways unable to open it.
I use keyword discovery and also google keyword suggestion tools when add title and meta description in the web pages.
If you use adsense, it would be wise to opt in for the Google Tool. My friend uses wordtracker but its not free.

If you want to make some serious money on the internet you really do need to pay for it to get good keyword research. Having said that a reasonable free tool is the SEO Tools one
