Best tool to check all of our competitors' backlinks?

Hi, sorry to ask this question. I ever read somewhere in this forum but I forgot the direct link to that thread. When I tried to use the search feature, I found nothing. OK, let's get to the point.

I want to check my competitors' backlinks. Usually I used backlinkwatch or yahoo site explorer. Unfortunately, I can only find 1,000 links for each site. What I want is to see all the backlinks, not only the first 1,000. How to do this? I ever read that we can check all of our competitors' backlinks by using "link: domainname.com" in Google, is that true? But when I tried it, Google showed all the internal links as well. I want to know if there is any tool out there which can check all of our competitors' external backlinks but more than only the first 1,000 links. (don't suggest me yahoo site explorer, iwebtool backlink checker, or backlinkwatch because they only show the first 1,000 backlinks)

Nice tool, but I prefer to add an SEOquake addon on Firefox and than enter google (site:www.website.com) and get all your backlinks listed by PageRank or any other criteria.

You can use the ALLTHEWEB.com and try for a back link checker like

    link:http://www.rkstech.co.uk

This will show you more than 12,000 odd links

    hope this Helps

Mate, this only shows 1,000 backlinks, not different with yahoo site explorer. As for "site:www.domain.com" in Google, it also shows internal backlinks and NOT all external backlinks. Linkdiagnosis.com is not accurate as well. So is there any real tool out there to check our competitors' backlinks?

Alltheweb.com also only shows 1000 backlinks, you won't be able to see all links to our competitors' site. What's wrong with you people? Even all these tools are not better than Yahoo Site Explorer (which only shows the first 1,000 external backlinks)

Sorry mate but all of you haven't answered my question. Thanks for the suggestions but linkdiagnosis, SeoQuake, and all of your tools won't show more than 1,000 backlinks which mean Yahoo Site Explorer is still better. As for link:www.domain.com in Google is not accurate, it won't show all of the backlinks. I have tried it. Now I believe there is no such tool that can really check our competitors' backlinks...is there really a tool like this out there?

Sorry but it also only shows 1000 backlinks. Did you even read my first post in this thread? I'm looking for a tool which can show us more than 1,000 backlinks.

Why do you need more than a thousand? I use Yahoo, it works great.
