    Never heard about KeyCompete.

It's quite pricy, don't really want to spend that kind of money

So you want to buy some software that will give you your competitors keywords...LOL

I've got a bridge to sell you in Florida too.

These programs are not worth it. Even after you get a list of keywords, you still have to test them to find out which ones work for you. There is no shortcut, stop looking for one. Do your own testing and you'll be light years ahead of anyone relying on these gimmicks for their keywords. Adwords success depends on a lot more then just the keywords you bid on. That is what is wrong with all these "spy" programs. They'll generate a list and show you where the ads are appearing, but it's irrelevant because you do not have the same ad copy, ad history, account history, keyword history and brains as the competition you're supposedly stealing from.

If you insist on buying these programs, please email me as I have some great q-ray bracelets, sea monkeys and swamp land in new jersey that I'm looking to unload too.

Actually, what you are saying is true. But some people have difficulties finding good keywords, so these softwares just help to find relevant/profitable keywords.

Once you got them, I don't think that writing an ad for them will be a problem.

Funny, I just tried their free trial, so I queried a keyphrase that I have owned the #1 spot for several months now and here's their results...

0 domains were found that match your search criteria

The thing is, once you learn how to manufacture your own keywords, all these tools become completely useless.

Well, First I gotta remind you. Why copy your enemy? maybe he does the same? Go for your own keywords! Yes, OK maybe a sneak look would be useful though :). You can either code can own tool which checks the SERPS or you could buy Affiliate Elite that would be the tool you are looking for, out of the box. Even it's not cheap. I think IBP hasn't that feature included.
But again, if you research your "own" keywords you won't end up in bid wars so quick

    Same with mine
I tried keycomplite and keywordspy (trial), none of they are showing my real keywords number.
For an example keywordspy said that i have just 5, but i have around 700.
    It's a huge difference

keyword spy is probably the best out there - but it only gets a small percentage of what people are actually using - if you think about it that's going to be the same with every piece of software though as they're never going to 'know' every KW
