    Obviously .com, .net and .org have already been taken for domain name I want or I wouldn't be asking this. ;)

    So for native English speakers which .tld is next which you would associate with website in English?

    That was fast - I didn't have time to post the poll - yes I'm thinking .us would be good choices since us market would be primary target but let us make sure, there is no rush and no point in making changes later besides this poll would be nice guideline to others. ;)

    The .us would be the next best one, especially if you are targeting the .us

    If you're targeting the UK, the .co.uk is the best

    co.uk can be hard for newbie users.They can type com.uk or .uk ı have some experiments about this.I have a .com.tr (turkey) domain but users type .com or .tr (there is no extension like tr but newbies doesnt know this).

    Of course you first have to choose com.Then org or net i think they have smilar popularity.After this .us is best for u. states and other english speaking people.
