Best time to submit to Digg or Reddit?

    Does anyone have an opinion on whether there is a best time of the day or week to submit a post to sites like Reddit or Digg?

    I have submitted a few posts which were similar in nature. I had a heap of traffic from one, while the others were completely ignored.

    Some say it is tuesday ;) ... check your stats when you have the most natural visitors coming ...

    Tuesday and Thursday,either is okay.
    Yes,check your site statistics and you'll get a clue.

    The time doesn't matter as much as the title and subject.

    The best time to submit is when you have a really good story to submit. Other than that, getting it posted around 8-9 AM Easter time, when a lot of people are just getting to work, gives it that extra push. You'd be suprised how many people catch up on the latest news first thing when they get to their cubicle.

    I am lost, why Tuesday and Thursday? And what does you site statistics has to do with it?

    I am seeing more and more spam story submitted by people from other country(suggested by their user name).

    and most legit user are from US and Europe so do you calculation

    unless you submitted the same story everyday in a 7 day span..it is a coincidence

    You need to submit at less busy times in order to have enough time to get the votes and end up on the front page. Especially if you are planning to post in a popular category. Otherwise your story will end up on second page minutes after submitting because the whole place will simply get flooded with more stories. Unless of course yours really stands out.
