A emerald ring worth around 75,000$(USD) - picked it up in the park while I was taking a walk... I never sold it and am wearing it right now, if if times ever got tough I have a backup.
Found 100 bucks once turned it in. Never found what happened. Somebody else probably took it and spent it. Shawn

I metal detect so I find lots of cool things. My favorite was an 1899 10 gold coin. I also found an old token that I sold for $2000. But I have found tons of old things....its my hobby
I'm wearing my emerald class ring from high school. DP has to be my greatest find. Other than that, I think it's probably a quarter. I've found cat poop on my shoes many many times (we always have more than 10) but I think that's in the worst find category along with finding that I'd just deleted my homepage without a backup and without a clue what was on it.
1922 Peace Silver dollar I found in the gutter when I was a kid (looking at it now... thanks for helping me remember!). Only the $9 value one though, but it's interesting 'cause it's the one with Lady Liberty having her mouth open... was quite a controversy when it was made, due to people thinking it made her seem like a "loose" woman. Loose meaning she talked a lot... not the other thing you were just thinking. Also, was given a used one of those belts with the hidden zippers when the owner passed away, and found a $100 bill inside Bought a fender strat with that, back when $100 would still buy one.
