Best techniques for SEOing my blog

Yeah so i have this wordpress powered blog www.reviewhogs.com and as such i have zero traffic. The blog would be basically about product reviews etc. Although it says its still under construction, i have the content ready for launch. I want to know the best techniques for seoing this blog. Basically i want to be able to get a good pr in google and yahoo(not very concerned about bing at the moment) to be able to make some revenue from the blog. I can put in around 1~2 hours a day on this blog.

Change the permalink structure, install and configure essential plugins for SEO such as All-in-one SEO pack, google XML sitemaps, Headspace2, robots meta data etc.

Those are basic things that I am doing when I am going to launch a new site.

 

I have already changed the permalink structure to category/post. I will install these plugins as well. Thanks for the advice!

Backlinks, appropriate title, and decent keyword/key phrase frequency are bets bets for blogs. Simple, obvious advice, but it's what really works. Also enable, invite, and encourage detailed comments - it's like getting content for free.

 

My blog doesn't have zero traffic but it needs to get more traffic. I am submitting it to blog directories. My blog is about informative articles on cheap tattoo kits, vehicle emergency light bars etc.

 

You must do a good onpage optimization

 

It has been said to use SEO alot here but not really much information on how to... or what too... Please can someone provide a link or some techniques so we can all learn ;D
