Hi DP! Got a dilemma here... Let's say I have WWW.domain.com (English), FR.domain.com, DE.domain.com and so further. English website receives 80% of the traffic and ranks highest (PR) among the other sites. What is the best technique to link between all the sites? Full mesh - so all the sites have DOfollow links to each other? Or may be have DOfollow links being placed from WWW site to all the international pages while international pages would have DOfollow only to English (WWW) site and NOfollow links to the rest of sites? May be it doesn't matter at all cause everything resides under same domain name and same IP? May be links from English site don't pass any weight to French site? Thanks!
full mesh, i would recommend different regional based IPs for each though, this is crucial...not only for linking but SEO as well...(regional)
I am doing something similar and i will point from international site to all languages versions and each language version will point only to my main international site.
Thanks FREE BET, However I suppose you would agree with me that dedicated IP in every country is a management headache;-) However you are right and I am trying to move couple of sites to the corresponding countries to see if geo-hosting really works.
nevermind...I thought you did some experiments in the past and came to that formula. Now, after rereading your message I see that are only preparing doing the same.
