    "Superman the Movie" was the first superhero movie that was done anywhere close to right after the super-bad (IMO) versions of the 40s, 50s and 60s. It had its faults and cheesy 70's aspects but it set the new standard for the next three decades of superhero flicks.

    As for more current movies, the new Batman movies are awesome too. :cool:
