    For a small website you can try hawkhost. I use them now and they are OK. You do not need the unlimited space and BW of hostgator.

    Hi genchev, thanks for your inputs. Is it reliable? I have seen some sites who give free space as well, however, these face crashes quite often.....

    If your target audience is in India, I would recommend going with an Indian provider, with servers located in India. Hostgator India comes to mind.

    There are cheaper companies in India, or if the server location doesn't matter to you, plenty in the US or elsewhere. I always recommend having your server closest to your target audience, however.

    So what kind of budget are you looking at? People can give you ideas one after another but maybe you could help narrow things down some with a rough budget. Remember you get what you pay for...

    i use Hostgator and did not have any problem in 5 years... you can use coupon CUTOFF25PERCENT to get 25% discount...

    I am using Hostome.com for last couple of month, there support is really exceptional and there hosting plans are also cheaper
