Best Suggestion(s) for Recipricol Links Page

So, I just started a blog www.thewindowsfix.com and am trying to get some traction by submitting to directories. I'd prefer not to have all of my reciprocal links on my homepage, so I've created a hidden links page and am using that as my reciprocal page.

Do most directories frown on this? What better suggestions would you have?

Your site may not get approved if you use the hidden page as recipricol link!
Try to select some quality directories to link back to at footer.

A hidden page is defeating the purpose of reciprocal links.

I've seen people list the blog directories they link to on a separate page and that provides both the required reciprocal link and a resource for their site. As for those that demand to be on the homepage it's up to you, personally I wouldn't value a link that highly.

    Hello...

simply make a link on the footer of home page and call it "links" as that way the page will get indexed
and more directories will probably accept it as building a page and hiding it wont be any good.

I'm not sure what you expect coming into the directories forum and asking whether or not a directory owner would knowingly accept a reciprocal link from a hidden links page...lol.

Just make sure that the spiders can get to the page. Link it from an existing page. You can link it from the home page, or create a subpage of your 'About' page and link to it from there. Linking to it from your About pages means you won't be wasting any of your home page link juice on a links page. If the page doesn't get indexed (some directories will require this), point some links to it, like in a blog post on your blog, or hit it with a couple dofollow social bookmarks.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for advice guys...I created a link to the links on my site, instead of hiding it.
