Best Strategy in Affiliate Marketing?

I know strategies may vary depending on niche and the market. But, according to your experience what is/are the best Affiliate Marketing strategy in generating attention, traffic and conversion?

All niches have their own specifics related to that niche, but in general here is what I have found works the best.
Have a good giveaway, I usually use either an ebook that I have written or a video training set that I created. I then use these with a squeeze page with an optin form to get email addresses, then market the affiliate program. That is the basics, now you need to drive very targeted traffic at that squeeze page. The best way in my opinion is with Solo ads, easy to target. The next best way is with advertizing in niche newsletters and solo ads to those niche newsletters. The real key though is to tightly target those ads to your niche to keep the conversion rate high.

I like to say that the best way to market anything is to find out where your buyers hang out and get in front of them at that location. I can add to that, my best buyers are on my email list so when looking for more buyers I like to look for more email list buyers (solo ads).

 

Switch your idea from "affiliate marketing" to "building a list" and you'll be on the right track. What can you offer to people in the market to entice them to join your list and read your continuing content?

Once you accomplish that task, making affiliate sales will become much easier because you have an audience who trusts you, respects you, and listens to your recommendations.

 

There are different strategies for promoting affiliate products online. The strategy that worked best for me was driving my traffic to an optin page and then present the product to the subscriber. I drive my traffic to the squeeze in order to build my list and at thesame time monitize the list later.

There sites with which I promote products are clickbank, Amazon, Warriorplus, Jvzoo and Clicksure.

There are criterion in choosing which product to promote on any of these sites.

I will only talk about how I choose products on clickbank for promoting and how I drive traffic.

Step 1 . Choose a Niche
From my experience, I have learnt that products from any of these 3 niches are always hot

• Dating/Relationship
• Health and
• Making Money.

These are broad niches. You need to dig deep to find a sub niche within any of the main niches that you will master and become an authority in.

Step 2
What to Look for In Choosing Product on CB ( Personal experience)

I basically look for products whose gravity is greater than or equal to 15 but less than or equal to 30 (newbie friendly) depending on the niche but sometimes I go for higher gravities regardless of the competition
There is no optin form or any leak on the sales page
The sales page is attractive to almost get me to purchase the product
There is money back guarantee, testimonials and good graphics
The payout is $50+ and most times I go for products that have recurring payments, so that I get paid over and over again just with one set up


Step 3 Research Keywords to Target based on selected product
After Choosing the Niche, then the keyword(s) is researched using any of these tools

Google keyword planner (Free)
Market Samurai (Paid)
Longtail Pro (Paid)

These are the main things I look out for.

Step 4 Set Up A Landing Page

I use optimize press or funnel kit for my landing (squeeze pages) and they are not free. If you dont have money to spend, you can use blogger.com or youtube video to review the product you are promoting and then link to the product sales page

Step 5 Traffic Generation
Depending on some factors, I either use free traffic or paid traffic but majorly the free one.

For the free traffic, I basically use

• Niche forums
• Blog commenting
• Video
• Guest blogging

Please note that Steps 1,3,4 & 5 is also applicable to products from warriorplus, jvzoo and clicksure

I typically will build a review site for related products based on some criterion when I want to sell Amazon products and I implement steps 1,3 and 5.

to succeed in affiliate marketing, here are 2 extremely important

Tip1: the niche you select is critical to your success. If you find a big nichen that you have some specific skills and knowledge about. it is a good start, but still not enough to succeed

Tip2: the selection of the affiliate program you chose is the second biggest step in your affiliate adventure.
select an established affiliate marketing with a proven track record, that have several happy affiliates. doens't mean the most popular(like clickbank). i make some good cash from dating affiliate program and travel affiliate program. clickbank can be very bad or very good; depending on which products you chose to promote. personally i tried and left clickbank, after realizing that others affiliates have a much better ROI

our Product, have to Know Your Audience and then create a resource.
By taking the time to learn about the products and/or services that you are offering you can
create information that builds your credibility. That credibility builds trust. If your viewers do not have trust in you more than likely they will not purchase from you. So be careful.

 

To become successful in Affiliate Marketing you
need to build a list without a list it will be difficult
to even make a sales. Next is to decide which type
of traffic will be suitable for your niche you want to market
to and channel your squeeze page toward that in
order to build your list.

 

An online buyer buys from you after taking lots of considerations, viz, your own credential, the quality of content you provide to the buyers, how much you help your buyers etc. Just building your list or creating a site with good quality content isn't enough because buyers know you're ultimately a seller who wants to sell them.

So to succeed in marketing of others' products or services first build your own credentials first. I personally know many successful sellers who just build their own buyers' lists.

80% of your business comes from 20% of your existing clients and buyers, who already have successfully checked you and are satisfied with you and what you have shared or sold them. I believe that this should be the starting point.

When you try to sell something as an affiliate marketer what do you do?

You just recommend the visitor or the reader of your content something you think to be helpful for the visitor or the reader.

Do you like to receive any recommendation from an unknown person? Do you accept or follow anyone's advice, whom you don't accept as an expert?

You don't, none does.

Affiliate marketing or selling through recommendations first needs you to be qualified for recommending something to others, and when you're qualified you'll find lots of ways to recommend and earn as an affiliate marketer. Even you then can generate sales of any product just writing a how to article and publish that article in pdf format and give away as free downloads.

One more point, to succeed as an affiliate marketer you should promote a bunch of different hi-selling products and services. If you just work with one, two or three products or services you may have to wait for earning handful income quickly.

 

To make success in Affiliate marketing then you have to promote yourself or you have to promote their products & services into various related forums or blogs. Then they may recommend you.

 

Create a list! Then have a product offer to send to that list.
To get people to signup to your list, look at all the ebooks and software cluttering your hard drive. You'll probably find something in your niche that can help a person subscribing to your list (especially if it has helped you). Then offer it to them if they subscribe to your list.

 

Best way to marketing is to know where your buyers hang out. So go for it.

 

Main thing of any strategy is to find audience that where is your targeted audience and facebook is best way to find targeted audience. When you found your targeted audience then you need to promote your offer or product with catchy description if you have not ability to write attractive description then you cannot get benefit from targeted audience.

 

I can agree with all this....but I think the biggest key to success is not quitting and learning from your mistakes!
