Best Stat Counter tool?

I'm currently using Statcounter and Mint on one of my sites and the numbers are so different. Statcounter reports over 5,000 more unique a day than Mint does.

So what do you guys use and what is the best counter available? I've used Google Analytics before but it really did slow my site down.

No I've not tried extremetracking. Awstats is installed on my server by default and it's 10,000 unique off from the other trackers

 

Try http://www.activemeter.com It's free and easy to set up. Worth trying out even if you decide you don't like it.

Google Analytics is good, Google never runs out of bandwidth

Analytics is nice; however; it slows down my site for some reason.

 

dont use awstats because its log can be problem netx

There is no 'best' stat counter tool.

though i like urchin

 

ditto i use google analytics, pretty good stats with no loss of b/w
also i like awstats but it takes on some b/w and space

 

I use a combination of statcounter, google analytics, and awstats. I can never have enough numbers to look at!
