What sort of web services will you be offering?

There are two articles that come to mind that might help you decide your name:
    -www * avc * com/a_vc/2011/04/finding-and-buying-a-domain-name.html
    and
    -venturebeat * com/2011/01/19/9-mutable-suggestions-of-startup-naming/ .
Although they don't give you start up name ideas, they should help you nonetheless.

You can take a look at Hall.com and their story on how they bought their domain name in their recent blog post: blog * hall * com/post/13936429456/how-we-got-the-hall-com-domain, or just come up with a random assortment of words with your colleagues a la spotify's solution to it's name.

I suggest using namechk .com to see what name's are available on social networks as well.

    Hope this helps.

EDIT: Since I recently registered, I am unable to post links. None of them are my websites, and I am not affiliated in any way to any of them. Please replace the * with . and you should be able to find the articles and sites, or a simple google search might work.
