Best source for legal/licensed entertainment industry photos?

I need your opinions on the best source for legal/licensed promo and stock media photos and actor photos for an entertainment industry blog. We're not big enough to get the "big dog" media companies to provide us with promo photos, or even answer our e-mails/faxes/phone calls/etc., but to grow bigger, we need images to go with the stories ...

Basically, I need a site where if we're writing a story about "television show A" or "Actor B" I can download a legal, licensed, nobody-gonna-sue-my-butt photo. I will pay at least a reasonable amount per photo or a reasonable amount per month for a subscription.

    Suggestions?

not sure but i can tell you that you will not find many of these on microstock sites, however, you can try the bigger stock photo sites as they do have some images of famous people but they cost quite a bit of money. hundreds per image.

    www.corbis.com
    www.gettyimages.com
    www.rubberball.com

just a couple of the big names in the stock industry. give em a try

    I agree with ansi.
I would go with someone like gettyimages. They have a huge editorial selection.

For a low resolution image (72dpi)for use only on the web ,and depending on the celebrity, it would be around $50 per image.
    Not cheap, but legal.
