What is the fastest and easiest software to develop web pages.

I am not talking about adobe or other products.

I remember a software that was used by many some years back.

which also ranks webpages in google. it had a bunch of templates that comes with it.

    it was a affiliate.

    does it still work ?

Wordpress is free, easy to use, can help build a site, and drive traffic to another website.

As for creating websites, I just usually use Adobe Dreamweaver.

    Good Luck to You! :)

So... because you don't know how to make your sites secure, or use a host-provider with lax security, WP is bad? Sorry, there are many reasons why WP is bad, but your sites getting hacked is probably not one of them. Granted, some of the standard setup on Wordpress is prone to give out way too much information if there is something throwing errors, but that doesn't mean that WP necessarily is bad - it just need a bit of attention, making sure it's always updated (shouldn't really be an issue anymore, as the updates are done automatically), making sure you don't use insecure plugins, or that you have code on your site that's not part of the update-process, and that can be riddled with holes.

Spammers are every where... But there are a lot of ways to control spammers. It depends on you what you are doing for your website security. You can use WordPress to build your website. As other member says its very easy and have a lot of layouts to use for your niche. You can use free or paid themes as well. And creating your own custom website. I'll recommend you to use Adobe Brackets. Its free and easy to use and also have a lot of extensions to develop your website.
    Hope it helps thank you.

If you're talking about a software to start a site from scratch most develoeprs use Sublime Text.

If you're referring to a framework that will make development easy, Wordpress is the best choice (if it's only for blogging or company site). If it's a hug site with options like shooping cart I would recommend Drupal.
