Best Software for Articles AND forum

    Basically, I want to set up a website which provides student help. Primarily, it will provide revision notes etc for a variety of subjects.

    It will also need a forum.

    I was trying to decide which software would be best for this.

    Should I go for a mainstream forum and then use plugins for articles (although this isn't as flexible).

    I would prefer free software at this time.
