is there any script available like hi5??
or any scripts which has widgets fetures for profile

sofar i prefering handshake but not fully satisfies

i want something professional
like hi5,tagged etc which has widgets system in profiles
which make visitors to register in first time they see`s the site

 

pligg is hurting with the profile pages but I think it's been mentioned inside the forums before!

The software is great don't underestimate it! The issue is the poor quality templates being made!

Take a few custom designs of pligg and you won't notice it's even pligg

The software is good don't judge it by it's cover!

You allready mentioned it but i love the one in my sig. It has the most features and its easy to work on... It has the best admin area in my opinion

 

Why not try phpfox ...

 

SocialEngine.net is cool. I test the demo and it seems great.

 

if you want something proffesional and unique of course you have to pay alot for it. Because if you just buy a script from a website that mean other people could buy it too and you will end up with a lot of people having the same script as you.

 

be careful of abledating (heard from many people that it's a scam)... I personally love phpfox and wrote a little blurb on choosing a social network script. Also, check out boonex, which is free, though I've heard buggy. I'd be curious to hear how the features of phpfox compare with social engine from someone who has had experience with both. Social engine's more expensive and, from what i understand, their license is non-transferable, so if your goal was to eventually sell your site, the new person would need buy a need license.

Do u plan to use a platform already hosted or create ur won website using a s/w platfrom from scratch?

 

My friend have tried several scripts and found many of them to be crap...except phpFox. So I definitely recommend it I have also personally tested it and know it is stable.
