Have you tried eZdia, another social networking and bookmarking site with its unique feature of Knowledge Bucket , giving good competitions to existing sites like twitter , etc. It helps you in both social and professional networking. You may like to check eZdia if you have not done yet
Numbers will not give you a picture. It depends on the topic of entries and weather headlines are attractive. I think it's better to buy social bookmarking submitter and do not think of numbers but provide variaty of titles and descriptions for submitter software.
Nobody cares about Reddit? Out of all social networking sites (FB, Twitter ...etc), Reddit actually covers 40% of all the referrals. Unless I did something wrong in other SNS.
Of course it depends what you do with it. I was thinking about someone who use the services in a similar way...as the bar digitalpoint use for example. Anyway, numbers will always give some sort of idea. If Twitter is constantly on top for example it is likely to think it works good for most people.
Reddit is actually one of the few I received tons of traffic from during a couple of days. This was without promoting it.
I would say Facebook and Twitter as they are the big guns at the moment. MySpace still has a massive number of active users so they should still be considered. Dont have any referal stats tho sorry.
Oh man, I've never heard of Tubeblasterpro. I'm trying it right now and it's awesome! Will purchase a license. Thanks to everybody on this thread for sharing, I have benefited.
We had good traffic from StumbleUpon and Reddit (once we've get to the category's front page). Nevertheless, social networks' traffic usually has a very bad conversion ratio.
That was my experience when we got traffic from Reddit too. Maybe it's all fake to get all our PR....and we're all fools!
Twitter is easy to use and the best way to increase your blog traffic . First, gain your followers as much as you can! Follow many people and they will follow you and Post greetings and comments on news events.
I found if you hit front page Digg you will typically around 100000 in a day, reddit (10000). Not had any experience with Facebook or Myspace, I might have to look into them. If starting off I would aim for smaller social network sites.
