Dear friend, Yahoo buzz, delicios, digg, faves, friendfeed, frienster, diigo, fark most popular bookmarking website. Thanks
Digg and Stumbleupon are great, but I also like likelike.us for reaching people quickly and under the radar.
if you get something hot on reddit and make the first page you can get 50-60k in a day. Had a site hit there about 2 years ago and it was massive and after a year i was still getting 250ish a day.
digg still works best for me, usually it only take one day for google to find my new site after i bookmarked it in digg..
Digg is dead. It only brings traffic to sites. Digg changed its URL format. You can't get seo boost from there. The traffic is useless, crap. Better use Yahoo Buzz.
I still find the most traffic for one of my sites which is entertainment comes from stumble upon.. followed by reddit next.. basically I submit to digg, delicious, stumble, reddit and goog bookmarks.. i dont have twitter account but have a button for users to share it there..
for me.....even if you use any social bookmarking(digg, stumble, reddit, or many of them) without your own community it will be nothing..you need to create your community 1st...try to get your community on social bookmarking site that you want use...when you got it....there is no problem to your site traffic.... i think all social social bookmarking is one same side(need to get follower@friend@mutual friend)....do you all agree with me..?
The best, the worst, the most used. All that and then some. Does all this really matter. In order to post to them all you would need a program. Use onlywire. Its free and you can promote to 32 different bookmarking sites automated.
