    I use peopleperhour for UK projects.
    Also freelancer co uk but I do create connections with people and work outside of those sites because they charge a lot to both parties.

    Upwork isn't half as bad as people claim. Fiverr is better than ever, and you can find really good freelancers on there if you search hard enough.

    Freelancer.com is okay I guess.. I tried using it as a freelancer and hated it. It's probably better for those doing the hiring though.
