    Yes, you can update the XML at any time - you can edit it in any text editor.
    One important item that you can add in the Google XML sitemap is the periodicity rate at which your site updates.

    This is useful for getting Google to refresh your site often.

    I know. Thanks mate. I have already created 7 files of G sitemap which I have already submitted but now I am willing to delete those and make new because that time I didn't have robots.txt but now need to make some major changes.
    I used Gsitecrawler for making that much heavy sitemap but now Gsitecrawler doesn't start crawling from my laptop. I am not sure what's the exact problem.

    So if you know which another software can make heavy sitemap which I will break it into smaller files before submitting but that software should not stuck in between. I tried many software which got stuck and I was unable to save the sitemap and only Gsitecrawler helped me making my sitemap last year.

    if you use db systems, you can write some script that can build sitemap for you. other ways, I mean online it will be difficult. I have web site more than 22K pages and I have written script for build site map offline and upload sitemaps to server.

    How to write script for that? I have no idea for that. Is it possible for you to provide me that script so that I can create Sitemap through it :rolleyes:
