i use to find a thread about coupons from godaddy in netbuilders.org. they're very updated and most codes work as long as it didnt expire.
I used to get a lot of good codes from FatWallet.com, but now it seems godaddy promo codes are becoming less common. Renewal codes have been rare quite a while now. I joined their discount domain club to get everyday good pricing. Good luck.
Now that godaddy has removed promo codes for the most part (well regardless), if you have a lot of names at godaddy, and want to save a considerable amount, the discount club is the way to go. Use a 35% off on the price, and its like $70 for a year. With a price drop of $7 on a .com (registration and renewal), only takes ~10 names to make your money back. Definitely worth it.
Certainly GoDaddy is not longer the best way to go when it comes to buy domains, but if you can still give it a go, I would suggest visiting RetailMeNot for those coupons.
