best shopping carts - 800cart

Hi all,

I've been looking into online shopping carts, and which are the best to use. I don't want to pay a fortune every month, as I'm not actually at the stage yet where I need a big shopfront. However, I do want a 100% reliable, easy to use, simple shopping cart.

Can anyone suggest their favourite shopping cart (with positvies and negatives, if possible).

Also, has anyone come across or used 800 cart? Any feedback would be appreciated.

ZenCart works pretty good for me, It's free but I think with the right server, it will work fine. I had ZenCart on my dedicated server to support the traffic.

 

Solardrift, can you please clarify whether you have a site already where a shopping cart needs to be added or whether you would like to build an on-line store from scratch.

The templates that Viart provides are very good and pretty reasonably priced. The shopping cart software is excellent.
